WHO CAN TRY OUT
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at Georgia Southern University (minimum of 12 credit hours)
- Must be in good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher)
- You may not have any form of academic warning or academic probation
WHAT IT TAKES
PLAYER COMMITMENT
- Expected attendance at practices and games
- Fall dues must be paid in full by October 1st, 2026
- Spring dues must be paid in full by February 1st, 2027
- You will receive 2 game jerseys, 2 hats, a practice jersey, and a BP jacket
TRYOUT FORMAT
WHAT TO EXPECT
Fielding Drills
Position-specific groundballs, fly balls, and throwing evaluations.
Batting Practice
Live BP and tee work to evaluate swing mechanics and contact.
Pitching Assessment
Bullpen sessions for any players interested in pitching roles.
Scrimmage
A short intrasquad game to see players in a live game setting.
Your Equipment Needed
Bring your own glove, cleats, batting helmet, bat, etc.
